Role: Senior/Tech Lead Power Automate Engineer

Role Location: Leeds, United Kingdom (Hybrid) (3 days/ week onsite is Mandatory)

Duration: 4 Months Contract with possibility of renewal

Job Description:-

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:-

• Design, build and support enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, AI Builder and Copilot Studio.
• Develop applications, workflows, automations and AI-powered experiences that improve customer and colleague outcomes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve processes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Develop and configure AI-powered agents and assistants using Microsoft Copilot Studio and other Microsoft AI capabilities.
• Build intelligent workflows that combine automation, data, business processes and AI services.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, enterprise applications and other business systems.
• Develop and utilise APIs, connectors and reusable components to support enterprise integration requirements.
• Establish and promote engineering standards, development practices and reusable design patterns across the platform.
• Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, resilient and aligned with Lowell's architecture, risk and governance requirements.
• Monitor solution performance, reliability and adoption, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to platform governance, standards and best practice guidance.
• Support the evaluation and adoption of new Power Platform and AI capabilities as the Microsoft ecosystem evolves.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and project teams, helping to develop capability across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for solving business problems through technology. You'll be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and enjoy turning complex challenges into practical solutions.

You'll ideally have:-

• Strong hands-on experience designing, building and supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proven experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI Builder.
• Experience building intelligent automation and AI-powered solutions within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of application design, solution architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience in integrating Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems, APIs and data sources.
• A solid understanding of security, governance and operational support considerations within business-critical solutions.
• Experience working within Agile, product-led or iterative delivery environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions.
• Experience providing technical leadership, coaching or mentoring to other engineers.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, learning and continuous improvement.
