Part-Time Charity Finance Manager
Location: Just outside Ilkley
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 FTE
Working Pattern: 3 days per week
Hybrid working: Available following initial settling-in period

Robert Half is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded charity in the search for a Part-Time Finance Manager to join their team based just outside of Ilkley.

Reporting to the Operations Director, this is a broad and rewarding role with responsibility for overseeing all finance activities across the charity. You will play a key role in ensuring the organisation remains financially strong, compliant with relevant legislation, and well-positioned to support its ongoing mission.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role, partnering with senior stakeholders, and making a meaningful impact within a values-driven organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day finance function for the charity
• Preparing timely and accurate financial reports for senior leadership
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
• Producing management accounts and financial analysis
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and charity legislation
• Supporting audit processes and year-end reporting
• Overseeing financial controls and identifying areas for process improvement
• Providing financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making

About you:

• Ideally fully qualified, although strong QBE candidates will also be considered
• Previous experience in a broad finance role, ideally with ownership of the full finance function
• Strong technical finance skills and a sound understanding of financial controls and compliance
• Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
