About Dream Big Digital

Dream Big Digital is a boutique eCommerce and marketing agency based in Leeds, Yorkshire. We specialise in designing, building, and marketing online Shopify stores that excite customers and generate revenue. Our small but mighty team is passionate about helping ambitious brands sell more online through tailored, personal service.

We’re now looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join the team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, supporting the delivery of day-to-day marketing activity across our eCommerce client portfolio. As the agency continues to grow, there may be opportunities beyond the initial fixed-term contract for the right person.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone with a good grounding in digital marketing and a particular interest in eCommerce. Working closely with our Marketing Director, designers and wider team, you’ll support the planning and delivery of email marketing campaigns, website merchandising, assisting with key trading initiatives and reporting.

A key part of the role will be helping our clients get more from their website and marketing, so you’ll need to be comfortable thinking commercially about campaigns, products, promotions and customer behaviour.

You don’t need to be a specialist in every area. We’re looking for someone who is organised, creative, commercially aware and happy managing a varied workload across multiple brands.

Previous Shopify experience would be a big advantage, as would experience working with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of email marketing campaigns across our eCommerce clients
  • Developing campaign ideas and writing clear, engaging email briefs and copy
  • Working with designers to coordinate email creative and ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time
  • Reviewing email performance and using results to help shape future campaigns
  • Assisting with day-to-day Shopify website trading and merchandising
  • Writing and updating website content, including blogs, landing pages and case studies, whilst supporting SEO and website content optimisation
  • Merchandising and optimising client websites to support key trading periods
  • Keeping up to date with digital marketing trends
  • Working closely with the wider team to make sure client activity is delivered accurately and on time

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a digital marketing, eCommerce or similar role
  • Experience supporting or delivering email marketing campaigns
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills
  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how digital marketing activity can drive traffic, engagement and sales
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence managing multiple tasks, clients and deadlines
  • A creative approach and confidence contributing ideas
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team
  • A genuine interest in eCommerce and digital marketing

Particularly Useful Experience

These aren't essential, but we'd particularly love to hear from you if you have experience with:

  • Shopify, particularly product management, merchandising or website trading
  • Klaviyo or another email marketing platform
  • eCommerce merchandising and website trading
  • Google Analytics or other digital reporting tools
  • Working within an eCommerce brand or digital agency

Benefits

  • The opportunity to work across a variety of exciting eCommerce brands and industries within a growing Shopify Plus Partner
  • Real responsibility and the chance to make an impact across client accounts
  • A supportive, collaborative and creative working environment
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Real responsibility and ownership — your work will directly impact client growth
  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working (home-based with two days in Leeds city centre)
  • Part of a growing, innovative team
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
