We provide supported living services for people with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities, helping individuals build confidence, develop independence and live fulfilling lives in their own homes. Our services include self-contained apartments supported by innovative assistive technology tailored to individual needs.
With our head office in Cheshire and services across the North West, Yorkshire and other areas of the UK, this is an opportunity to play a key role in the effective delivery and continued development of our services.

As Operations Manager, you will provide leadership, guidance and operational oversight to our Registered Managers and Service Managers, ensuring our services are safe, effective, compliant and focused on achieving positive outcomes for the people we support.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Quality and compliance: Working with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and ensuring regulatory requirements, safeguarding procedures and quality assurance processes are embedded in everyday practice.
- Risk management: Overseeing the effective management of clinical risks, complaints, incidents, safeguarding concerns and unexpected events.
- Workforce planning: Ensuring staffing levels and resources are deployed effectively to meet people's needs while maintaining safe and sustainable services.
- People management: Leading managers through performance reviews, appraisals, quarterly monitoring and the effective application of HR policies and procedures.
- Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency and the experience of the people we support.
- Strategic development: Contributing to organisational growth, business sustainability, tender opportunities and wider service development.
- Partnership working: Building strong relationships with health and social care professionals, commissioners and external organisations.

- Senior leadership support: Deputising for the Director of Operations when required and contributing to the achievement of ISL's strategic objectives.
You will also participate in on-call duties as required and work flexibly across a seven-day rota to meet the needs of our services. Regular travel across ISL's areas of operation throughout the UK will be required, with business travel expenses reimbursed in line with company policy.

- Good IT skills and experience of maintaining accurate records and reports.
- A commitment to person-centred support, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- A flexible, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to develop knowledge of housing management within the sector.
