Focus 5 Recruitment are working with a fast-growing, premium customer-focused business to recruit a commercially driven manager to take ownership of one of its sites.

This is an opportunity to run and grow a business unit, taking responsibility for commercial performance, team leadership, customer experience and day-to-day operations. You’ll have the autonomy to improve performance, develop your team and make a genuine impact on the success of the business.

We’re interested in managers who combine strong commercial instincts with hands-on leadership. You might be a General Manager, Business Manager, Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Practice Manager or Business Development Manager who has experience managing people and taking ownership of overall business performance.

The Role

You’ll be accountable for the overall performance of the site, balancing commercial growth with effective operations and a consistently excellent customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning revenue targets, sales performance, KPIs, budgets and P&L.
• Leading, motivating and developing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Managing rotas, resource planning, one-to-ones and individual performance.
• Monitoring and reporting on business unit performance, identifying opportunities to improve results.
• Driving sales conversion, diary utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Taking ownership of the customer journey, service standards and site presentation.
• Identifying the root causes of performance issues and implementing practical solutions.
• Working closely with Head Office and senior stakeholders on targets and business improvement.
• Developing local business partnerships to generate opportunities and support growth.
• Overseeing stock, ordering and day-to-day operational requirements.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, leads from the front and understands what it takes to run a successful business.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience managing a business, site, branch or operational unit.
• A proven track record of delivering commercial results, with accountability for revenue, sales targets and financial performance.
• Experience managing, coaching and holding people accountable for their performance.
• Strong organisational skills, including team scheduling, resource planning and performance reporting.
• A data-driven, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to challenge performance and make improvements.
• A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and local partners.

Experience in healthcare, retail, hospitality or another customer-facing environment would be advantageous, but sector experience is less important than your ability to lead a team, deliver results and build a successful operation.
