Senior Building Surveyor / Associate Progression
Leeds
Up to £70,000 + Bonus
Hybrid Working
Ready to take the next step in your building surveying career?
Are you a Senior Building Surveyor looking for a clear route to Associate level, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility and help shape the future of a growing consultancy?
This is an opportunity to join an established building surveying practice with five offices throughout the UK and a strong pipeline of work from commercial clients. The Leeds office is a close-knit team, offering the chance to work directly with senior leadership, build client relationships and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.
There is major focus in providing quality work without losing the personal feel of a smaller team.
The Role
You'll work across a varied commercial building surveying workload, including:
- Dilapidations – advising commercial clients on landlord and tenant matters.
- Project work – delivering a range of building surveying projects from inception through to completion.
- Client management – building strong relationships with commercial and national clients.
- Business development training, benefiting from introductions and business leads generated by the partners, while developing your own client relationships.
- Team development – working closely with the senior team and taking on greater responsibility as you progress towards Associate.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Associate position with no glass celling
- Clear progression to Associate (if senior) – ideal for an ambitious Senior Building Surveyor ready for the next step.
- Salary up to £70,000, plus fantastic bonus – rewarding you for your contribution.
- A strong pipeline of work – with established commercial and national clients.
- Direct access to the partners – work closely with decision-makers and benefit from their client relationships and business leads.
- A genuine work-life balance – with hybrid working and typically just two days a week in the office.
- A close-knit team.
Who Would Suit This Role?
You'll ideally be a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) currently working at Senior Building Surveyor or associate level, with experience across dilapidations and project work.
You may already be considering your next move or simply feel ready for more responsibility and a clearer progression route. Experience within a smaller consultancy could be particularly relevant, especially if you're looking for broader involvement in client relationships and the future direction of a business.
