Regional Sales Manager, North
Pure Pet Food · Leeds · £55,000 basic, £80,000 to £110,000 OTE
We're a Yorkshire business with close to 300 Brand Ambassadors across the UK and the Netherlands. We hire people with a real edge and back them properly.
WHO YOU ARE
You're competitive in a way that's hard to switch off. You want to win, you want to know the score, and being top of the table is the only option, no matter how difficult.
You're sharp. Quick on your feet, quick with a joke, quick with numbers. When ten things land at once, you know which two matter and you don't lose sleep over the other eight.
You're a thinker as much as a doer. If one stand does 30 sales and the one next door does 8, you'll have a theory before anyone opens a dashboard, and you'll check it against the data before you act. You make the call the numbers support, even when it's unpopular.
You care about people, but you can still hold the line.
You think like an athlete. You know winning comes from preparation, reviewing what went wrong and getting a bit better every week. You know how to coach a team through form, fitness and a bad day.
And you back yourself. Completely.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll inherit a working team, a packed events calendar and real numbers behind both. Your job is to push them all up.
You'll report to the Head of Sales and own the North's results every week: more sales, better sales per shift, stronger recruits and customers who keep feeding Pure long after the show's packed up.
This isn't a laptop job. Our managers sell, and the best ones outsell their whole team. You'll be on stand, setting the score everyone else chases. But it isn't only a stand job either. The other half is plans, spreadsheets and hard decisions, and you need to be brilliant at both.
You'll also:
• Run the North like a business. Sales, retention, cost per sale and events are all yours. Pull the shows that don't pay back, double down on the ones that do.
• Set the direction. Build the North's quarterly plan, then present it, defend it and deliver it.
• Lead the team. Coach on stand, run one to ones and give straight feedback, the good and the hard. You'll manage the North's recruiters and events coordinators, so you'll be the link between who we hire, where we sell and how the team performs.
• Recruit and staff. Keep the pipeline full, get new starters through their first shifts and build weekly team sheets with the right people on the right stands.
• Report weekly. What happened, who's flying, who's at risk and what you're doing about it. No hiding, no fluff.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• A track record of hitting targets under pressure, and a history as a top performer yourself
• Experience managing people and owning a budget, target or regional plan
• A proper commercial brain. You can weigh what a show costs against what its customers are worth over a year, not just on the day
• Confidence with data, AI and tech (dashboards don't scare you, you build your own)
• Happy to travel across the North and stay over for the big shows
Bonus points if you've grown a team, built something from scratch or been the top salesperson somewhere.
HARD NO'S
• You're not within commuting distance of our Leeds office (4 days a week when not in the field)
• You won't work some weekends in the field
• You don't have a full UK driving licence and your own car
• You go with your gut and skip the numbers
• You don't back your own ability to be the best
WHAT WE OFFER
• £55,000 basic, £80,000 to £110,000 OTE. Hit your numbers and you'll earn it
• Real progression in a business that's grown fast and isn't slowing down
• Flexible working around weekends, with TOIL
• Free food for your dog (it'd be odd if we didn't)
