The role of Account Executive is key to how we’re evolving client relationships. You’ll be the face (and voice!) of insurance for some of our fantastic corporate clients – and you’ll take the lead in nurturing & strengthening those partnerships.

You will be given an existing book of mid-sized commercial clients and will responsible for managing and supporting those partnerships so that clients have Radius front-of-mind for their next insurance requirement and to encourage those clients to take on more Radius products.

You’ll also take the initiative in forging new client growth, building relationships through new and through your own networks and securing new business wins. You might even have existing clients you want to introduce, and we’ll support you at every stage.

You’ll take the lead in making sure clients are happy, profitable and have everything they need for a successful insurance relationship. You’ll be supported by our Broking, admin and account management teams and we’ll give you the grounding to develop your career in new and exciting ways.

This is a national role with UK-wide responsibility, so we’ll be asking you to travel to client sites on a regular basis and to visit key Radius offices to work alongside colleagues.

Job Description

  • Ensure clients have appropriate products to meet their changing needs through regular discussion and spotting opportunities to expand;
  • Renewal of clients in a timely manner, liaising with Broking Managers (and working within our renewal process);
  • Secure new business, both from existing and from new clients;
  • Obtain referrals for the new business team and the wider Radius business;
  • Ensure that clients have all required documentation;
  • Work with colleagues to identify and support new ways of contacting your clients at key stages of their relationship cycle;
  • Payment collection, liaising with Finance Managers (and working within our payment process);
  • Claims management and regular claims analysis, liaising with our in-house Claims team;
  • Ensure that systems and procedures are always followed in accordance with firms’ compliance manual and FCA Regulations

Qualifications

    • Knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines relating to insurance;
    • A knowledge of general insurance products;
    • The ability to organise yourself so that deadlines are adhered to;
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills;
    • The ability to build strong relationships with clients;
    • The ability to liaise with colleagues and build strong relationships across teams;
    • Effective written communication skills.
