Your new role
Hays are partnering with a growing manufacturing business in North Leeds who are looking for a Stock Control Administrator/Support.

The position is primarily office-based, with a strong focus on stock administration, inventory accuracy, supplier coordination and record management. Approximately 90% of the role is office/store-based, with around 10% spent in the warehouse and goods-in areas, particularly when new deliveries arrive, to inspect incoming parts, verify documentation and ensure stock is accurately received into the system.

• Manage all stock control administration activities, ensuring inventory records are accurate and up to date within the MRP system (Sage).
• Receive and process machine part deliveries, checking delivery notes, certification and supporting documentation against purchase orders.
• Conduct hold-in inspections to verify part numbers, quantities and product quality before stock is booked into the system.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery discrepancies, defective parts, missing documentation and delayed orders.
• Maintain accurate records of technical drawings, specifications, certifications and stock-related documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, analyse replenishment requirements and raise purchase orders in line with agreed reorder levels.

• Ability to work independently and monitor your own workload, and as part of a team
  Ability to diligently follow work procedures and practices
  Numerate and literate to a good standard
  IT literate - familiar with ERP systems and Excel
