A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to recruit an Assembly Technician to join its production team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with mechanical assembly experience who enjoys working within a quality-focused engineering environment.
Your new role

• Assemble mechanical components and products to required specifications.
• Work from engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical documentation.
• Use hand tools, measuring equipment and workshop equipment safely and accurately.
• Inspect completed assemblies and identify any quality or manufacturing issues.
• Complete relevant production and quality documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of expertise, safety and housekeeping.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous mechanical assembly, fitting or technician experience within manufacturing or engineering.
• Confident using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Able to understand engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first approach.
• Experience within a precision engineering or regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
